The first thing that Bauer changed on the boot of the Supreme 2S Pro goalie skate is the fit of the ankle. The heel lock of the skate has been improved, and helps keep the goalies foot as far back in the skate as possible. As well, Bauer has added an eyelet comfort pad that helps with the potential of the ankle bone rubbing on the eyelets on the inside edge of the skate.

The 2S Pro maintains the Asymmetrical shoulder to keep the quarter panel (which is made from a new an improved glossy Curv composite) from stabbing into your ankle when taking advantage of the deep angle of attack this skate provides.

The holder that allows the 2S Pro goalie hockey skate to have this ability to get the goalies ankle as low as possible to the ice is holding new steel for 2018. The new steel is the carbon-coated LS5 stainless steel. This new steel holds an edge longer as well as primarily preventing corrosion from affecting your blades as much as an uncoated set of blades. The LS5 steel is also the same height as the LS3 G right out of the box, so those goalies looking for a taller package do not need to look into the aftermarket.

The 2S Pro JR goal skate takes what the goalie world loved about the 1S, and did what they could to improve the already extremely compelling package.
