About TPE:
The surface of yoga mats made of TPE foam is softer than that of most other yoga mats. In addition to being particularly comfortable, this also means that these mats are somewhat more prone to abrasion and daily wear and tear than yoga mats made of PVC.
Please be sure to always roll the mat with the underside facing in to avoid wrinkles on the surface. To prevent the TPE yoga mat from drying out, you should also not expose it to the sun for longer periods of time.
Abrasion caused by the hands or feet rubbing on the mat, sharp fingernails or other impacts can leave marks on the mat surface. These are not manufacturing or material defects, so unfortunately we cannot replace mats which show signs of abrasion damage.
The Lotus Pro Mat is Environmentally-friendly mat from recycled materials.
Suitable for yoga and Pilates with a uniquely soft and grippy surface structure. The 2 sides have contrasting colors and different patterns. The Lotus Pro yoga mat is made of the environmentally-friendly material TPE (Thermosplastic Elastomer Foam). This material is 100% recyclable, hygienic, free of latex, rubber and PVC and therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers.
With its comfortable thickness of 6 mm, the Lotus Pro mat is also very suitable for Pilates and gymnastics exercises. It is SGS-tested and completely free of PVC. In addition, it contains no toxic plasticizers, heavy metals or AZO dyes.

The surface of TPA foam yoga mats is softer than most other yoga mats. As well as offering a high level of comfort, these mats are also somewhat more sensitive to abrasion and can show signs of wear more quickly than PVC yoga mats.
Please be sure to roll the mat the right way round (with the underside facing in) to avoid creases on the top.
To prevent the TPE yoga mat from drying out, do not expose to the sun for long periods of time.
